Small but well kept farms. Farming is
heavily subsidized in Scandinavia. Our mid-day waffle "snack" in an
old barn, was wonderful!

a visit to the 1994 Winter Olympic Ski Site in
Lillehammer
Oslo, half million population in the center for education, culture and
government.
Stockholm, Seden
A center for Viking study and museums
City Hall where the Nobel Laureates are honored in the Blue Room.
A beautiful city for walking, for artist and
performers and shops and eateries.
To these hospitable Scandinavian countries - Denmark, Norway and Sweden -
and to the legendary troll and robust Viking, we say "takk" - Thank you,
but more than that we say "tuss and takk" or 1,000 thanks.
