Churchill, Manitoba, Canada

Two hours north of Winnipeg by air. Population: 1,000 people; 1,500 polar bears (Oct. & Nov.)
Churchill's located along the western shoreline of Hudson Bay and at the mouth of the Churchill River. Polar Bears gather there in early winter waiting for the Bay to freezer over in order to go out on the ice to find their favorite food, seals. Our search for these great white furry creatures was rewarded, sighting nearly 60 bears. Wow! Happy hunting!
