November 13 - 18 Polar Bear Adventure
Churchill, Manitoba—on the edge of the Hudson Bay—is a gathering place for hungry polar bears. From the warmth of our tundra buggy, we view these fluffy creatures as they gather and wait for the bay to freeze so they can search for food. Our naturalist guide will inform us of the behavior and habits of the polar bears as well as educate us on the fragile environment of this northern community. The small port town of Churchill includes an Eskimo Museum and shops with local native crafts. Given proper conditions, we might catch a glimpse of the northern lights. Truly a northland experience to remember! This tour begins/ends in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Passport required.
